Very pleased to announce that XM Automation is now a bronze member of the ABTT Industry Supporters Group (ISG). I remember first reading/hearing about Automation back in 1980 in the ABTT Sightlines magazine, which had an article (by the great Dick Brett) on the new National Theatre Power Flying System. Back then the idea of computer controlled flying systems seemed the stuff of science fiction, how the landscape has changed. The ABTT has throughout those years supported the discussions, and debates that have helped drive our industry forward, through their support for the International Theatre and Architecture Conference (ITEAC – founded by Dick Brett) and the work of the various safety and training committees. Very happy to be contributing in a small way to that work, and looking forward to future discussions.
